We are excited to welcome Dr. Amelia “Millie” Taylor to our Appomattox clinic beginning September 14, 2026. Dr. Taylor earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry and graduated summa cum laude. She provides comprehensive and preventive eye care with a special interest in dry eye and ocular surface disease, contact lens evaluations, and personalized treatment plans.
Dr. Sheridan will continue seeing patients in Appomattox one day each week. He has cared for Harman Eye Center patients since January 2017—and will also practice four days each week at our nearby Amherst location (reopening on 10/01/2026).
Our Appomattox office offers care for conditions including dry eye, glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration, along with consultations for LASIK and premium lens procedures. Patients can also explore our updated optical inventory featuring new designer frames, sunglasses, specialty lenses, and personalized service.
