Blake Hampton, M.D.

Dr. Blake Hampton, MD, is a highly trained ophthalmologist with a strong academic background and a commitment to delivering thoughtful, patient-centered eye care. Originally from South Florida, Dr. Hampton graduated as valedictorian of his high school before earning a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, with a minor in Chemistry, from the University of Miami, graduating magna cum laude.

He went on to complete medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine on a full-tuition academic scholarship. After completing an internship in internal medicine, Dr. Hampton completed his ophthalmology residency in New York, where he was selected as Chief Resident, reflecting his clinical leadership and dedication to excellence.

Dr. Hampton practices comprehensive ophthalmology with a particular interest in advanced and refractive cataract surgery, helping patients achieve clearer vision tailored to their lifestyle and visual goals.

Leadership & Innovation

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Hampton serves as the Executive Director of Ophthalmology at FirstHx, a digital health company focused on improving patient intake and access to care. He also consults with Frontier Care Organization, supporting its mission to expand access to cataract surgery and ophthalmic care for patients with limited access to surgeons across the United States.
