Catherine Baston, M.D.
Dr. Catherine Baston went to Clemson University for undergraduate studies and later graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2006. She then completed her ophthalmology residency at The Ohio State University. Before joining Harman Eye Center in 2020, she worked as a comprehensive ophthalmologist in both El Paso, Texas, and Greenville, SC.
She is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Her areas of expertise include comprehensive ophthalmology with a particular interest in advanced cataract surgery, diabetic eye exams, and medical and laser treatment for glaucoma.
Dr. Baston and her family enjoy living in central Virginia with its easy access to nature and all four seasons. Her favorite part of working at Harman Eye is both the amazing team of staff members and the state-of-the-art equipment at the surgery center she uses to help patients see their best.
